Original Plastic Parts Restoration?

Does anyone have any experience with restoring old mustang plastic parts? I am trying to restore my Ram air setup with the fiberglass, plastic plenum and flappers. Has anyone used the Krylon Satin Black Plastic paint? I have used it on the flapper assy's and it looks great. I am curious if I should also paint the plenum. Mine is gray right now with all the correct part numbers. All the plenums I have ever seen are black. Looking for some professional advice. My ultimate goal to to restore car to original for shows. Thanks!
