Do you put the screw on the lid in the dishwasher for the back Jet dry after filling with Jet Dry?

Not the place you put the detergent. I think when I asked him before some of you miss understood my question.

I always unscrew the cap, fill the reservoir with Jet dry, replace the lid. I think if you do not put on the lid, the Jet Dry all be filtered in the first use.
