what spark plug gap for msd?
i've got a 350 with a top-end kit and msd 6a ignition with a blaster 2 coil and i'd like to know the best plug gap to use with this type of setup, any help would be great
A .060 gap sounds like a lot but this ignition system has a long spark dwell period which is great for lean air/fuel delivery in the combustion chamber. If you choose to go with iridium spark plugs, do not attempt to change the gap under any circumstances. Iridium is hard and brittle, very much like a ceramic. The center electrode will break very easily.
Platinum on the other-hand is soft.
