How much does it cost to fix my door handle passenger in my Silverado 2000?

the passenger side door handle of my silverado 2000 retired the door, only the plastic piece, and I can not use it. also the only way to open the door now is to turn the key and while holding the set the lever in place. the manual inside lock does not work. so was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them and if so how much of what it costs to repair? thanks for the help.

junkyard door handle, you have to remove the door panel with window rolled all the way up. there will be 2 or 3 screws / nuts that hold the door handle in place if you're lucky just got loose and fell off, it will be laying on the bottom of the door. everything is good again. If the Plastic does not break junkyard lucky door handle, there are two bars that connect the door lock assembly of the door handle is just to fit in the hole (locking rod) and the other will have little plastic clip on the bar turn this final clip after the outbreak of the rod of the lever. Remove the screws / nuts mounted external handle and pull up and out, remove the bars and included in the replacement handle reverse extraction operations. This is a good amateur work realitively easy, and plenty of room to work only needs # 1 and # 2 philips screwdriver, 8mm wrench / socket to do so. Screwdrivers are for the elimination panel of the door.
