Can you have a dishwasher in stainless steel with a white stove and fridge?

I know you can, but all our devices are more than 8 years old. Our dishwasher was just white out and I want to change everything for stainless steel. My husband told me that only you can get stainless steel, dishwasher and replace everything else, and they die. Would not that look tacky? Sticky is not the word I use, but does not look good for mixing equipment.

We replaced an appliance than a year, from white to stainless steel. This does not match seemed strange devices for two years, but it was so easy to tell customers, "hey, we're changing to stainless." This almost always led to a fun conversation in which he was thrilled by how big our kitchen will see. And now that looks great! I love the stainless look, and are very easy to keep clean once you find the right filter. I would do this again in the same way.
