Anyone Help Me with a Whirlpool Washer?
I was doing a normal load of laundry, I turned it to the spin cycle and the handle broke off. What can I do about this without replacing the washer?

Did you break the stem off of the timer or just the insert of the knob? If it's just the knob, you can order a new one. It just slides on the stem. You can also buy a new timer if you need it. There are 3-5 screws on the back of the control panel that allow you to tilt the panel forward. You can then replace the timer with a new one. Look in your yellow pages for appliance-parts and service. Call them and give them the model number. They can set you up with a new timer and/or control knob. Hope this helps.

High-efficiency top load washers use superior cleaning systems as well. These systems provide better cleaning results and less wear and tear on clothing. For example, Whirlpool's Direct Inject Cleaning System showers the loads with a concentrated solution of water and detergent that eliminates the need to pre-treat stains and their 6th Sense Technology measures the load weight and size and automatically calculates the optimal wash action to achieve the best cleaning results.
